ALGERIA ISP / Le 19 octobre 2011, nous avons diffusé l'information du décès de monsieur Ali Ahwal dans la ville de Bani Walid ; un coordinateur des tribus libyennes et chef tribal "Warfala".

Hier, nous étions surpris de son interview avec le docteur Youcef Chakir.
D'après une source Libyenne, la rumeur de son décès a été diffusée par la tribu de Warfala afin de faciliter son évacuation de la ville assiégée Bani Walid. Finalement, il a pu sorti de la ville saint et sauf.
Ceci explique l'investissement jusqu'à ce moment dans le soutien à la Libye verte. Ils n'ont jamais tourné de veste comme les autres traitres.
Hier, à Bani walid, sa tribu Warfala a donné une bonne leçon aux rebelles.

Yesterday we reported that the Arab League (with European and US support) are preparing to institute a no fly zone over Syria. Today, we get an escalation which confirms we may be on the edge. Just out from CBS: "The U.S. Embassy in Damascus urged its citizens in Syria to depart "immediately," and Turkey's foreign ministry urged Turkish pilgrims to opt for flights to return home from Saudi Arabia to avoid traveling through Syria." But probably the most damning evidence that the "western world" is about to do the unthinkable and invade Syria, and in the process force Iran to retaliate, is the weekly naval update from Stratfor, which always has some very interesting if always controversial view on geopolitics, where we find that for the first time in many months, CVN 77 George H.W. Bush has left its traditional theater of operations just off the Straits of Hormuz, a critical choke point, where it traditionally accompanies the Stennis, and has parked... right next to Syria.

"The U.S. Embassy continues to urge U.S. citizens in Syria to depart immediately while commercial transportation is available," said a statement issued to the American community in Syria Wednesday and posted on the Embassy's website. "The number of airlines serving Syria has decreased significantly since the summer, while many of those airlines remaining have reduced their number of flights."

The warning followed an announcement in Washington this week that Ambassador Robert Ford would not return to Syria this month as planned, indicating concerns over his safety.

The Obama administration quietly pulled Ford out of Syria last month, citing credible personal threats against him.

The Turkish foreign ministry on Wednesday urged Turkish pilgrims to opt for flights to return home from Saudi Arabia and avoid traveling through Syria for security reasons.

The warning came two days after Syrian soldiers opened fire on at least two buses carrying Turkish citizens, witnesses and officials said, apparent retaliation for Turkey's criticism of Assad. The Turks were returning from Saudi Arabia after performing the annual Muslim pilgrimage to Mecca in Saudi Arabia.

KUALA LUMPUR, 19 November 2011 - The Kuala Lumpur War Crimes Tribunal ('Tribunal') commenced hearing war crimes charge of Crimes against Peace against George W Bush (former U.S. President) and Anthony L Blair (former British Prime Minister) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.For the first time, a war crime charge has been heard against these two former heads of state in compliance with due legal process, wherein complaints from war victims had been received, duly investigated and formal charges instituted by the Kuala Lumpur War Crimes Commission (Commission).  The Tribunal hearing was marked with the recusing of two judges and with the better part of the day spent on dealing with preliminary objections from the Defence team. The Tribunal inquired in detail on the service of the charges (charges served on accused) against the two accused. The Prosecution referred to the Affidavit of Service filed and affirmed by the then registrar of the Tribunal, that the charges were served on 19 September 2011 to known addresses of the both accused and in addition, also served on the US Embassy and the UK High Commission in Kuala Lumpur. The service of the charges was in accordance with the rules of the Charter of the Kuala Lumpur War Crimes Commission ('Charter'). Mr Jason Kay, appointed as Amicus Curiae (‘Defence’) under Article 15 of the Charter raised two preliminary objections: on the jurisdiction of the tribunal to hear the case that Judge Niloufer Bhagwat withdraw from hearing the case on the grounds of potential bias. On the issue of bias, the Defence submitted that judge Niloufer Bhagwat was involved as a judge in the International Criminal Tribunal For Afghanistan at Tokyo where George W Bush was found guilty for crimes in Afghanistan. And she had appeared as a prosecutor in the World Tribunal on Iraq against the same accused in Istanbul. The Prosecution responded that the Iraq tribunal was a NGO session and not a court and the Tokyo tribunal and the Iraq tribunal were held in the absence of Bush. And the most important fact is that each case is decided on a case-by-case basis based on facts and law. In addition, the Iraq war and its atrocities, has caused everyone to have their own views. The Tribunal adjourned the sitting to deliberate on the matter. Judge Niloufer Bhagwat made a statement that she had at all times fully disclosed to the Commission about her role in the previous tribunals. She highlighted that at the Nuremburg trials where the judges were all from the Allied powers, no issue of bias was raised. Although she had no vested interest in the matter of the present hearing, she would voluntarily recuse herself in the interest that ‘justice must be seen to be done’ (withdraw from the Tribunal panel for this hearing) so as not to cast even a shadow of partiality on the proceedings. On the issue of jurisdiction, the Defence submitted that the Tribunal has no jurisdiction, as it has not been sanctioned by the United Nations. Nor is it under the Rome Statute as Iraq and Afghanistan are not signatories of the Rome Statute. Extensive submission was made in support of these points. The Prosecution submitted that the tribunal is a Tribunal of conscience. The Prosecution submitted that no action has been taken despite numerous complaints of war crimes against the two accused by the International Criminal Court (ICC). The United Nations also failed to take any action to recommend criminal trials. It must be noted that the United States and the United Kingdom have veto powers in the UN Security Council. The UN Charter starts with ‘We the peoples…’ The KL Charter is based on the peoples’ right. Today, People are making power accountable. In addition, this Tribunal is not usurping the authority of any organisation such as the UN. As a people, we have the right as humanity to act against war crimes. War crimes are universal in that there is no geographical limitation. God given conscience cannot be silenced. There are also views that this Tribunal has no purpose. The World Court can take into account judicial decisions of other judicial bodies. The Tribunal is made out of eminent people, which can set precedents in the legal authority of international law against war crimes. After deliberation, the sittings resumed with the Tribunal president informing parties that Judge Zakaria Yatim had been taken ill and would not be able to continue serving on the panel. The quorum of five judges is permitted under the Charter of the Commission. The Tribunal also unanimously overruled the preliminary objection and ruled that that it has the jurisdiction on the following grounds that: The Tribunal is constituted under the Charter of the Commission, which is a legally constituted body. By virtue of Article 7 (1) of the Charter the Tribunal has the jurisdiction to hear the charges before the Tribunal. The Tribunal is a tribunal of conscience guided by the principal of natural justice. The Commission’s Charter is inspired by the Rome Statute Guided by previous tribunals of conscience such as the Russell Bertrand Tribunal for the Vietnam War and the Tokyo Tribunal for Afghanistan. The Tribunal is complementary to the UN, which has thus far not acted on the complaints of war crimes against these 2 accused. The prosecution made an application to the Tribunal to only hear the first charge, Crimes Against Peace, which the Tribunal permitted. The Prosecution opened their case by outlining why this charge of Crimes Against Peace have been brought against the two accused: To signal that no country, however powerful can arrogate to itself the right to commit the Crime against Peace, in this case attack another country in violation of international law. To signal that there is culpability for such crimes by individuals, including heads of states, who authorise or acquiesce in the commission of such a crime. To hold liable heads of states and not just punish petty minions. To preserve the integrity of international law as it evolves and is now evolving. This can be done by consigning to the dustbin of history, the crude and naked arrogance and cruelty of power as demonstrated by the acts of these two accused - leaders supposedly of the free and civilised world. These 2 accused had deceived their own country and the international community in furtherance of their evil and criminal design and objectives.  The Prosecution commenced their case through the tendering of public documents showing that the attack on Iraq was planned prior to 9/11 and was an ongoing plan until the actual attack on Iraq in 2003. The UN Resolution 1441, which was relied upon by the US and UK to launch the attack was also scrutinised to show that there was no authority to use force under the said resolution. There was a need for the UN to actually authorise the use of force by way of a second resolution. This was evidenced by the history of negotiation of UN Resolution 1441 wherein there was clear indication that the resolution did not authorise the use of force. The hearing proceeded till the end of the evening and will continue on Sunday 20 November 2011. The trial is being held in an open court from November 19-22, 2011 at the premises of the Kuala Lumpur Foundation to Criminalise War (KLFCW) at 88, Jalan Perdana, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. La derecha gana las elecciones en España

Parece que el Sr Rajoy, va a ser presidente del gobierno de España.
Quién lo hubiera dicho. Un provinciano burgués, que a penas pronuncia bien el español( otros idiomas mejor ni hablarlos), más bien discreto como político, y sin grandes logros ni en su época anterior con Aznar ni su actual, en el PP como líder de la oposición, va a ser presidente del gobierno de España.

Enhorabuena.

Cuando este señor aplaudía cada vez que la crisis le hincaba más el diente a España, él seguía en su asiento de la oposición.
Cada vez que el gobierno proponía alguna solución para la crisis, este señor se negaba o se mofaba.
Cuando los mercados apretaban a la economía española, este señor para sus adentros se frotaba las manos.
Nunca se le ha oído una propuesta, mas que ir llorando a la Merkel para que le deje en paz un ratito, vamos, que disfrute de su triunfo.
Nunca ha ofrecido oposición seria, de la democracia real.
Nunca ha ofrecido alternativas, soluciones, o apoyos para salvar a España de una situación mala a todas luces para todos.

Y con ese comportamiento ha logrado ganar unas elecciones por mayoría abrumadora. Incluso con mejor resultado que su ex-jefe Aznar.
Sin moverse, fumándose un puro, sin inmutarse, sin ofrecer nada, sin motivar, sin sentimiento, sin pasión:
Sin nada, como un burócrata gris como su barba.

Pues bien, ha llegado la hora de la verdad.
Ahora veremos de qué está hecho ese señor, ese partido, y todos los españoles que se piensan que un giro a la derecha resuelve una crísis económica mundial que afecta localmente.

Resulta curioso que ahora quien juega y pesa en las elecciones es la ya famosa  prima de riesgo, que, aunque no sabemos ni quién valora, ni quien la maneja, ni en base a qué sube o baja, la última semana ponía a España contra las cuerdas.

Los caminos del señor para ganar unas elecciones son inescrutables( ah bueno, Rajoy es verdad, confía en Dios).

La agenda secreta de Rajoy, va a recordar el famoso cuaderno azul de Aznar.
No se sabe qué va a hacer, sobre todo para resolver la situación económica de España.
Ah, pero España tiene solución?
Ah, pero la tiene Rajoy?
Pues adelante: estamos todos esperando verlo.

Las apuestas están a que hará concesiones sangrantes a los mercados, mucho más que Zapatero.
Pero debe ser que eso mucha gente no lo sabe.
Espero equivocarme.

Situación en Siria

Irán tendrá que esperar.
El dilema de la OTAN no es tanto, para ellos, y para sus aliados del golfo, Irán es el peor enemigo y hay que doblegarlo. Para ello, hay que romper el nexo que existe entre Irán y Hezbollah y Hamás a través de Siria.


Coincidencias de la vida, lo de Libia se aceleró mucho, y lo de Siria siguió a "fuego lento" durante 2011.
Aunque funadamentalmente ocurrió lo mismo.
Pero hace ya varios dias, que todos se están moviendo igual que se movilizaron en su día para "terminar el problema libio.
Hace mes y medio, en "los siguientes de la lista" mencionaba que el tema de la revueltas era una ficción inventada por occidente, y que casualmente igual que en Libia, habían usado las zonas fronterizas vecinas para suministrar armas, dinero, y personal a los terroristas disfrazados de sublevados contra el régimen.


Hay que insistir en que cundo el pueblo se queja contra su gobierno pacíficamente hay disturbios, y posibles heridos.
Este no es el caso, igual que no lo fue en Libia.
Esto es una sublevación armada y violenta que no tiene nada que ver con la población Siria.
Es una sublevación controlada desde el exterior, armada y financiada desde los países limítrofes como intermediarios para la CIA y el Mossad, que son como siempre, los beneficiarios, y los que encargan esos trabajos. Experiencia tienen y mucha.


La prensa atlantista como siempre, e igual que ocurrió con Libia, amplifica la voz de su amo y distorsiona por no decir que miente con un descaro tremendo sobre la realidad en el terreno.
Simplemente con observar de donde informan los periodistas sobre Siria, uno se puede hacer a la idea de la información que barajan.
En Libia, empotraron a la prensa con los rebeldes, pero nadie informaba de la Libia libre. Curioso.


Pero Siria, aunque haya prohibido la entrada a periodistas, o por lo menos eso dicen los occidentales, mantiene legión de gente que estaba o ha entrado pero no están vinculados a los actuales y futuros agresores. Han aprendido la lección libia. Vieron cómo los periodistas eran agentes de la OTAN sobre el terreno e informaban de todo lo ocurrido con los bombardeos.

Entre tantos vídeos, sólo uno reciente donde se ve que lo que occidente llama revolución, levantamiento, disidencia, u otros términos más sugerentes, se quedan en nada frente a la realidad.
Esa realidad que no vamos a ver ni en la prensa ni en la televisión atlantista, porque sino, se acabría el juego.
Hay que convencer al pueblo de que se hace lo correcto.
Y lo correcto es financiar y armar a mercenarios, terroristas e integristas suníes, para que se mezclen en los tumultos, se suban a los tejados de las casa, y disparen indiscriminadamente contra civiles, militares, policía y lo que estimen oportuno para sus fines.
La OTAN dice que se está matando al pueblo por su aspiración a la democracia, pero no menciona que casi la mitad de los muertos son militares del ejército regular.
En otros términos, un vecino cabreado es capza de matar a un soldado?! Como? y porqué?
Cuando uno se hace las preguntas correctas, empieza a obtener las respuestas correctas.


Estamos en la fase final de preparación de una guerra contra Siria.  Posiblemente no sea convencional, y la faceta más innovativa de la CIA y la OTAN nos sorprenda.
Siria no es Libia.
China y Rusia han aprendido la lección. Dejar que Siria caiga tan cerca de ellos, es muy peligroso.
¿La flota rusa y su amarre en la base de Tartus?
Hay noticias no confirmadas de que naves de la flota Rusa se dirigen a aguas internacionales cerca de Siria. Sería un movimiento muy claro de cara a cualquier movimiento militar no avalado por la ONU( y nunca lo sería con su veto).
La Liga Arabe siguiendo las ordenes de su amo la OTAN/CIA expulsa a Siria de la Liga, y establece el típico precedente que tanto le gusta a Obama para ir a la ONU y decirles "es que si los Arabes están de acuerdo, y ven que Bashar no puede seguir en Siria, pues tenemos que ayudar, y salvar a la población de ese dictador tan malo".
Más derecho de ingerencia bajo el famoso paraguas del R2P.


De todas formas la opción militar directa por parte de la OTAN sería de un descaro increíble a todas luces ahora mismo, y con el cadáver del líder libio caliente aún.
Subcontratarlo como han hecho y hacen en Libia, y ahora en Siria y en su día en Libano, a mercenarios, terroristas, integristas suníes, salafistas, miembros de esas bandas que tanto han luchado por occidente como Al-Kaeda, no deja de ser una opción arriesgada.
Como se pongan pesados esos "rebeldes", y como reclama la mayoría de la población Siria, el ejercito desembarcaría con más violencia.
Debería sobre todo controlar las alturas que es donde se asientan los famosos rebeldes francotiradores, con una puntería que cualquiera tiene.

Por lo menos y aunque Angeles Espinosa de "El País" firma desde Damasco, y siempre con muy poco acierto y bastante tendencioso ( vamos a ver, si el Imperio es accionista de ese periódico...), las declaraciones del ministro de exteriores, publicadas en la prensa alternativa también y antes por cierto,no dejan de corroborar lo que muchos sabemos, y decimos.

“Sufrimos una visión unilateral en la cobertura de los sucesos. El 90% de la imagen que se difunde sobre Siria es infundada y no refleja lo que de verdad sucede sobre el terreno”, se queja el ministro sirio de Información, Adnan Mahmud. Lo que sucede, según el ministro, es que su país “está siendo atacado por grupos armados apoyados desde el exterior con el objetivo de minar el papel de Siria en la región y su relación con las fuerzas de la resistencia”. No obstante, se muestra convencido de que Siria va a superar esta crisis.

“Hay grupos armados que aterrorizan a la población y asesinan a civiles, policías y militares; que asaltan medios de transporte, universidades, hospitales y otras instituciones”, denuncia. “La televisión siria ha difundido confesiones de algunos detenidos”, subraya sin reparar en que el Derecho Internacional prohíbe ese tipo de acciones. “Podemos facilitarle el acceso a alguno de ellos”, ofrece.

Mahmud no entiende el empeño de los medios extranjeros en hablar de las manifestaciones de la oposición. “La semana pasada apenas fueron 24.000 personas en todo el país”, asegura. “Sin embargo, nadie prestó atención a los 10 millones que salieron a la calle para rechazar la intervención extranjera en los asuntos internos de Siria y el apoyo al programa de reformas del presidente”.

La historia se repite una y otra vez. Acaso no vimos las manifestaciones verdes en Tripoli y en Libia? Cientos de miles de personas apoyando a su lider, y el imperio errer que erre, que si no hay derecho, que si se divide el país, que si más democracia, que el ejercito mata a civiles etc...

De repente aparecieron las "masas" que reclamaban democracia y reformas, armados hasta los dientes, con ametralladoras relucientes como mucho de su armamento.

La Otan atacó directamente al ejército libio mientras éste cumplía su deber y evitaba que elementos armados hicieran daño a la población y atacasen a la policía.

Si el plan para Siria sigue su curso, nos podemos preparar todos para un 2012 sangriento y criminal.

¿Saif el Islam"detenido"?

Ya no sorprenden las mentiras del CNT, y ya no sabes a quién creer. Estos bárbaros adictos al móvil y a sacarse fotos y videos de pésima calidad de sus críminalesy violentos actos, en esta ocasión, ponen una foto que demuestra poco.
Dicen que pondran videos.
Habra que verlo, pero mentiras no han dejado de decir desde el inicio de la guerra en su beneficio, y más ahora que la resistencia verde les está dando en casi todas las ciudades.

This is the news that came out a few minutes ago from Russia Today. NTC apparently arrested Saif Al Islam in southern Libya.

First of all, I don’t think “arrested” in the right term to be used. We arrest outlaws, criminals. Not heroes who are defending their country and their people. If in any case NTC has Saif Al Islam, it means they abducted him. And most probably, very violently.

Secondly, we all know very well the hundreds of times the NTC lied to mainstream media. This time they said they’ll be coming with a video within hours. Ok then let’s wait and see. But remember when they said they captured Khamis Gaddafi ? Remember when they said they killed Khamis Gaddafi ?

Thirdly, western powers can’t take the risk to have Saif Al Islam going to the ICC and expose secret documents and explain all he knows, in front of world cameras. And trust me, he knows a lot! Rumors say that he already sent secret documents to the ICC prosecutor. ICC didn’t discuss this matter at all. Hence, even if true, they’ll always be able to say they never received anything and destroy the documents. Though, if the NTC has Saif Al Islam under its custody, they’ll soon receive a direct order from their white masters, ordering to kill him.

Good and evil doesn't have a grey zone.  Killing and stealing is bad.  Violence is never "good" or necessary unless it is used to defend against killers and thieves. Indeed, that is the morality behind the "just war" principle as defined by international laws and treaties.

Yet, this simple concept of right and wrong gets muddled by differing ideas about religion, patriotism, economics and many other divisions.  The "just war" rule has crumbled under the ambitions of empires throughout history.  The American-led Anglo Saxon empire is no different.

This empire has been brutally conquering and colonizing territory since the fall of Rome.  However, it has only gained an American face in the last century.  The United States quickly emerged as the world's "superpower" primarily through its economic might.  For some time, many believed the U.S. to be a shining example of economic freedom for other nations to emulate.  Indeed, America was eager to promote "economic freedom" globally to open new markets for U.S.-based corporations.

When foreign leaders refused to allow these corporate interests into their country, those leaders were replaced through a variety of covert actions.  The form of government that would be installed did not matter to the empire makers so long as the corporate interests were served.  In most cases these nations simply surrendered to the seemingly unlimited power of the almighty dollar, thus camouflaging the traditional method of forceful empire building.

However, some nations, especially in the last two decades, remained stubborn and have refused to alter their banking systems while also shunning Western companies.  Despite the empire's best efforts to diplomatically bribe or sanction them into submission, they ultimately required an iron military fist to force their compliance.  Until recently, military action remained the last resort.  But now, preemptive military action seems to have become the preferred, and perhaps necessary, method to conquer the last resource-rich nations out of their grasp.

The empire's populations cheered this strategy out of fear of being attacked by these rogue nations who never attacked or even threatened to attack them.  In the fog of fear, killing and stealing became acceptable. In fact, detention without charges and even torture became acceptable in the former capital of freedom. America has determined that the means justifies the end -- which is more power.

As with all empires, these "means" have become increasingly violent and destructive in the face of resistance.  Yet, only a few more dominoes are left to knock over for America to complete a plan set in motion well before they were one of the colonies.  That is unless, of course, other world powers break ranks and attempt to stop the conquerors, which could lead to a large scale conflict.

Regardless, when the dust settles and moral history is written, America and her Western cohorts will likely be viewed as the most brutal empire in history.  Here are ten reasons why this is already the case:

1. Support of Dictators: For all the happy talk of spreading Democracy and protecting human rights, the empire has repeatedly not only supported dictators, but in many cases overthrew popularly elected leaders and replaced them with puppet tyrants.  Examples range from secretly funding the Nazis, to installing the Shah in Iran, Pinochet in Chile, supporting Musharraf in Pakistan, and their everlasting love affair with the brutal Saudi royal family, to name a few.  Actions speak louder than words to those who can navigate the storm of propaganda with a moral compass set to recognize good from evil.  Dictators and freedom cannot coexist.

2. Preemptive Wars of Aggression:  It could be said that all wars are preemptive in nature because so many entities benefit from war.  Yet, even before America's latest crusades, they covertly and surgically attacked countries that never threatened them.  This allowed them to maintain the moral high road in the public's eye while constructing the foundation of their empire.  That was until the Bush Doctrine; the use of preemptive military action to confront possible threats was unofficially adopted to be the new foreign policy for combating terror.  Since then, America has become the violent aggressors, having officially invaded two countries -- Afghanistan and Iraq -- without legitimate provocation.  Violent aggressors have always been judged by history as evil. But it gets worse....

3. Torture: Torture has never been acceptable by those promoting a high moral standing in the global community.  Nazis and Japanese soldiers were convicted and executed for engaging in the exact same torture techniques that America has redefined as 'enhanced interrogation'.  "I was just following orders," was not a justifiable excuse for such inhumane behavior, much like it wasn't a good enough defense for the low-ranking patsies who took the heat for the sinister Abu Ghraib torture scandal even though their actions wereapproved at the highest levels.  Can state-sanctioned torture of prisoners held without charges ever be viewed as anything less than brutal?

4. Suppression of Dissent:  All tyrannical regimes throughout history have suppressed homeland dissent.  As government oppression grows bolder at home and abroad, more citizens will naturally express outrage, resulting in even more oppressive controls.  This is happening in the United States through the all-seeing eye of the Department of Homeland Security with warrantless spying, arbitrary watch lists, citizen spy campaigns, and TSA molestation to travel anywhere.  Additionally, in an attempt to squash free speech, they arbitrarily seize websites and violently confront peaceful protesters.  Unfortunately, as awareness of the topics in this very article expands, the U.S. will likely become even bolder in their pursuit of stifling dissent.  In other words, the worst is yet to come, and history will judge the U.S. as not quite the beacon of freedom they have pretended to be.

5. Elimination of Habeas Corpus:  Say goodbye to the notion of being innocent until proven guilty, the right to face charges and your accuser, and the right to a free and fair trial.  Habeas corpus, considered the only humane path to "which a prisoner can be released from unlawful detention," has been eliminated for those vaguely labeled 'enemy combatants' of the empire.  As Guantanamo prisoners rot under such pretenses, prominent lawmakers in the empire propose the exact same lack of rights for American citizens if they're labeled an 'enemy belligerent'.  Similar to the Spanish Inquisition, now you're guilty until you're tortured to admit your guilt.  Can it get more evil? 6. Assassinating Citizens:  That's right.  No judge, no jury, no conviction; just straight to execution. America has set another precedent in their tyrannical march toward empire when they openly assassinated an American citizen and government patsy, Anwar al-Awlaki, and his teenage son on the suspicion of terrorism.  Paul Craig Roberts laments "Now the US government not only can seize a US citizen and confine him in prison for the rest of his life without ever presenting evidence and obtaining a conviction, but also can have him shot down in the street or blown up by a drone."  Isn't this the reason America claims to be knocking off dictators around the world -- the deliberate killing of their own citizens?

But Awlaki was a bad apple because the intelligence community said so. What's most telling that America will continue this wickedness is that almost every US lawmaker turned a blind eye to the grotesque violation of Constitutional rights. Only Ron Paul said that assassinating an American citizen without charges is nothing less than an "impeachable offense".  Too bad most of the country cheered the Awlaki killing as a "victory" in the war on terror, indicating that it is now an acceptable tactic.  Americans beware: you may be moved from a secret watch list to a secret kill list in this brutal empire.

7. Unauthorized Drone Wars: Unprovoked wars without authorization, accountability, or independent oversight only seem to be escalating; and with little resistance. The US Congress no longer votes to "declare war".  They simply give the Commander in Chief broad "authorization" to use force against specific nations. However, even that is not broad enough in the rapid pursuit of empire.  Now, joystick warriors directed by the CIA and Pentagon have targeted at least three countries with "unauthorized" military strikes; Pakistan, Yemen, and Somalia.  Even worse, they waged a full-scale war for regime change and resource plundering in Libya without any authority inside the United States.  Under the NATO flag, which is 75% funded by the U.S., they flew over 9200 strike sorties in Libya to illegally topple Gaddafi.  Drunk with success, the bloodthirsty empire marches on to their next preemptive targets, Syria and Iran.  Quick morality check: unprovoked killing and stealing as a first resort is still wrong, right?

8. Use of Weapons of Mass Destruction: How ironic that the world's policeman for weapons of mass destruction is the only one to use them on a mass scale.  The United States is on record using chemical, biological and even nuclear weapons.  From the atomic bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki in WWII, to Monsanto's Agent Orange in Vietnam, to the depleted uranium used in Afghanistan and Iraq, America only condemns itself when speaking about the evils of WMDs. However, killers don't appear to care how the killing is accomplished, so long as it achieves their goals.  The real firecrackers will likely be brought out in a confrontation with Iran, or if China and Russia are lured into the conflict.  It won't really matter much what history says if the use of WMD escalates by either side, but the aggressors should rightly be blamed for the ensuing scorched earth, while the defenders against killers and thieves should be viewed as righteous.

9. World's Largest Drug Dealer:  The American empire is the largest drug dealer in the world?  Say it isn't so. Well, in addition to forcing legal drugs and genetically modified organisms on nations, usually under the cover of foreign aid, America also leads in the illegal drug trade.  In fact, many researchers reveal that the war on drugs is only utilized to control and monopolize the illicit drug trade.  The US government has been caught multiple times shipping in cocaine, colluding with certain cartels to control the industry, and now openly protects and transports opium from Afghanistan.  In fact, Global Research points out that in 2001, "according to UN figures, opium production had fallen to 185 tons. Immediately following the October 2001 US led invasion, production increased dramatically, regaining its historical levels."  This month, the U.N. announcedthat Afghanistan now provides 93% of the world's opium production; up 61% compared to 2010 to a whopping 5800 tonnes.  Although the empire tries to keep it secret, they can't hide the hypocrisy forever.

10. World Reserve Currency Prison: Although using Weapons of Mass Debt is a non-violent form of expanding the empire, it's perhaps the most brutal and effective form of control.  Requiring foreign nations to purchase oil and other imported commodities with US dollars wields immense power.  Because all nations must acquire dollars to purchase critical resources, they quickly become indebted to the US Federal Reserve, their affiliate central banks, and the IMF.  Before long, the entire world is colonized by debt.  It seems that only the nations that don't need or refuse credit from Western banking institutions are the ones in danger of facing the wrath of the imperial war machine. Incidentally, most oil-rich nations in the Middle East have outlawed usury (lending money with interest), making them impossible to conquer diplomatically through debt.  Controlling the world reserve currency means controlling the tap of life itself, which is a dangerous weapon in the hands of an aggressive empire.  Debt is the ultimate WMD the empire uses to enslave the world, which leaves dissidents with two clear choices: slavery or death.

Although this empire is infinitely more powerful than Rome was, it will likely suffer the same fate.  For every negative action the empire commits, there's an equal and opposite good reaction. And the goodness of humanity will always defeat tyranny when it goes too far.  However, an empire with so much to lose will go down swinging and slinging every weapon in its arsenal, thus putting the final stamp on their status as most brutal empire in history.
